Market reduces to eight operators
As of last week, Missouri had nine sites that were ready to launch. However, a last-minute decision changed the field.
Underdog decided to pull its license from the market to focus solely on predictions markets and its daily fantasy sports products. Missouri is now down to eight operators, which are:
- DraftKings Sportsbook
- Circa Sports
- Bet365 Sportsbook
- BetMGM Sportsbook
- Caesars Sportsbook
- FanDuel Sportsbook
- Fanatics Sportsbook
- theScore Bet
Also, ESPN BET will not launch under that name come Dec. 1. PENN Entertainment is rebranding the app to theScore Bet, which is expected to be live.
There will also be retail sports wagering across the state. The following properties will be open for business, with the brand in parentheses:
- Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City (Fanatics Sportsbook)
- Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles (Fanatics Sportsbook)
- Argosy Casino & Hotel (Penn/theScore Bet)
- Century Casino & Hotel Cape Girardeau (BetMGM)
- Harrah’s Kansas City (Caesars)
- Hollywood Casino and Hotel St. Louis (Penn Entertainment/ESPN BET)
- Horseshoe St. Louis (Caesars)
- River City Casino and Hotel (Penn/theScore Bet)
Pre-live offers expire, but others should appear
Many operators rewarded customers with pre-live offers. PlayMissouri ranked those, as bettors were able to download apps and deposit money prior to launch day.
If you missed those, don’t fret. Operators are certain to offer more Missouri sports betting bonuses.
DraftKings is offering $300 on launch day just for signing up. To boot, it is not requiring a deposit to receive the bonus. FanDuel is awarding customers with $100 just for signing up with a no-deposit bonus.
Operators who had pre-live offers will adjust those today, allowing Missourians to enjoy the start of sports wagering.
Available sports to wager on
Missouri is launching just on time, which will provide bettors with a month of full-slate NFL betting. Customers can begin wagering on the New England Patriots and New York Giants game on Monday night.
The first chance to bet on the Kansas City Chiefs comes on Dec. 7 in a Sunday Night showdown with the Houston Texans. Fans can do it at Chiefs bars across the state.
There also solid slates of college basketball, NBA betting and NHL betting. The college football betting regular season is wrapped up. However, bowl games and the College Football Playoffs start on Dec. 19, and carry on through January.
