Missouri Sports Betting Bonuses
Missouri sports betting is coming soon, and bettors can expect plenty of Missouri sports betting bonuses once sites start launching. The new law stipulates legal sports betting must begin in MO no later than December 1, 2025, and allows for as many as 21 online sportsbooks. All of the new Missouri sports betting sites will no doubt offer bonus bets, deposit match bonuses, no-deposit bonuses, and more to entice bettors to sign up and start wagering.
Below I’ve compiled expected Missouri sportsbooks and the sports betting bonuses they’ll likely be offering. Read on for a full rundown on what’s to come for Missouri sports betting bonuses in 2025.
Expected Missouri sportsbooks and their bonus offers
As someone who lives in a state that launched online sports betting not that long ago (North Carolina), I’m familiar with the process of different operators obtaining licenses, advertising “pre-live” bonuses and promotions, then launching with generous welcome offers to encourage new players to sign up and wager with them.
We’re tracking closely here at PlayMissouri which sports betting sites might be coming to MO.
This table shows a list of operators who are likely to launch in Missouri, and indeed some of these are already involved in the process of applying for licenses to go live with MO sportsbooks. I’ve also included the welcome offers and promo codes each site is currently running in other states. Note that while none of these offers have been announced in MO yet, you can definitely expect something similar when the sites start becoming available in MO later this year.
Online Sportsbooks | Welcome Offer | Promo Code |
---|---|---|
FanDuel Sportsbook | Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets if Your Bet Wins | No code needed |
DraftKings Sportsbook | Up to $1,200 in Bonuses | No code needed |
Caesars Sportsbook | Bet $1, Double Your Winnings on Next 10 Wagers | LEGALDYW |
BetMGM Sportsbook | Up to $1,500 in Bonus Bets if Your First Bet Doesn't Win* | PLAYBONUS |
bet365 Sportsbook | First Bet Safety Net up to $1,000 or Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets Win or Lose | No code needed |

Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook | Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets | No code needed |
*Bonus Bets Expire in 7 Days. One New Player Offer Only. Add’l terms.
These welcome offers sometimes differ a bit from state to state, but for the most part these are the offers most new sports bettors can get when they sign up at these sites. Chances are good when these sites launch in Missouri they’ll have something very similar for new sign-ups.
Missouri Sportsbook bonus summaries
Let’s look a little more closely at the offers from six prospective MO sportsbooks in particular — FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars, BetMGM, bet365, and Fanatics. All six seem likely to launch in Missouri, and to help you get prepared I want to explain how the offers differ and the pros and cons of each.
FanDuel Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets if Your Bet Wins
- To claim the offer, you must make a $5+ deposit and place a $5+ wager (no minimum odds on wager)
- Your initial bet must win to receive the $150 in Bonus Bets
- Any winnings earned with Bonus Bets becomes withdrawable cash with no further playthrough requirements attached
- Bonus Bets can be split up into smaller wagers anyway you like
- Bonus Bets must be used within seven days or they will expire
The FanDuel Sportsbook welcome bonus usually involves awarding new sign-ups bonus bets, something I talk about more below. Often you have to make a small bet (usually at least $5), and in return you receive a relatively large amount of bonus bets. Sometimes you have to win your bet to get the bonus, but other times you can get the bonus whether your initial wager wins or loses.
I like FanDuel’s welcome offer, although if it is a “must-win” bet as is the case currently, there’s a bit of pressure not to lose that initial bet, or else you don’t get any bonus at all. Getting bonus bets at FanDuel is great, by the way, because FanDuel lets you divide up bonus bets any way you like when wagering them.
- Bottom line: The FanDuel Sportsbook welcome offer is fantastic for casual, low-stakes bettors to get started making wagers on the site and if they win a few bets even start building a small bankroll.
DraftKings Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: Up to $1,200 in Bonuses
The DraftKings Sportsbook bonus is a multi-part offer, and indeed DraftKings usually has several offers in one for new users. It breaks down as follows:
- Deposit $5, Get a $50 Bonus Bet
- Bet $5, Get $150 in Bonus Bets (divided into six Bonus Bets)
- Receive a 20% deposit match up to $1,000 (25x playthrough requirement)
The first two items here should appeal to all bettors. You only have to make a small deposit ($5+) to receive a $50 Bonus Bet, then place a small initial wager ($5+) to get $150 more in Bonus Bets. You’ll have seven days to use these and whatever you win with them is yours to keep, just like with the FanDuel offer.
The third item is a deposit match bonus, and it probably only really appeals to high-stakes bettors. You get a 20% match of your initial deposit with the maximum bonus being $1,000 in DK Dollars (i.e., site credits). That means you’d have to deposit five times that amount to get the full bonus.
But there’s a catch… you also have to complete a difficult 25x wagering requirement, which means you have to bet 25 times the bonus amount (on wagers with odds of -300 or longer) in order to receive the bonus. If you’re going for the full $1,000 bonus, that means wagering $25,000.
You do get 90 days to complete that requirement, and it is possible to earn part of the bonus (i.e., it’s not all-or-nothing). You’ll be awarded $1 DK Dollar for every $25 you wager. Even so, you have to wager so much to win relatively little, I don’t think most users are too interested in this part of the offer.
- Bottom line: The Bonus Bets for depositing and making a first wager are fantastic, making DraftKings a great site to open a sports betting account. The deposit match bonus is less attractive, but even without it the welcome offer at DraftKings is a great one.
Caesars Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: Bet $1, Double Your Winnings on Next 10 Wagers
- Make a deposit (the minimum is $5), then make an initial bet of $1
- You’ll receive 10 Tokens each of which let you apply a 100% profit boost to a wager
- When using the Tokens, the maximum you can bet is $25. Bets must have odds of -10000 or longer
- The most you’re allowed to win with one of these Tokens is $2,500 (which means winning a big longshot)
- You have 14 days to use your profit boost Tokens or they’ll expire
The Caesars Sportsbook welcome offer is a unique one. All you have to do is make a small deposit and then place a small wager of at least $1, then you get 10 profit boosts you can apply to your next 10 bets on the site. These are 100% profit boosts, meaning they will double your payouts if your bets are winners.
This is a neat way to reward you early on with bigger than usual payouts as you get started making bets at Caesars. The amount of the bonus depends on how much you bet and win, and there is that $25 maximum to think about as well. Still, it’s an original type of offer that I like a lot for new players.
- Bottom line: Bettors of all types should like this offer which increases your winnings for successful bets when first starting at Caesars, no matter how big or small the bets (up to $25 max.).
BetMGM Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: Up to $1,500 in Bonus Bets if Your First Bet Doesn’t Win (Bonus Bets Expire in 7 Days. One New Player Offer Only. Add’l terms.)
- When you sign up, you must deposit at least $10
- You’ll then receive a “First Bet Offer Token” to use when placing your initial wager
- That wager must have minimum odds of -10,000 (not too hard to find), and you must place it within seven days of signing up
- If you win your bet, you receive the winnings, but no bonus
- If you lose your bet, you get the bet amount back in Bonus Bets
- If you bet $50 or less, you’ll get a single Bonus Bet worth the equivalent amount. If you bet more than $50, you’ll get the bet amount evenly divided into five Bonus Bets
- You’ll have seven days to use the Bonus Bets, or they’ll expire. Whatever you win with the Bonus Bets becomes withdrawable cash.
BetMGM Sportsbook offers new bettors a “second chance” bonus, also sometimes called a “no sweat” bonus. Essentially, if you lose your first bet on the site, you can get your bet amount back in the form of bonus bets. That gives you a second try, in a way, when making that first bet.
I like this offer, but I’m not crazy about the fact that if you win your first bet, you don’t receive any bonus at all. You also have to risk money in order to receive a bonus, and in fact the more you risk (and lose), the bigger the bonus.
- Bottom line: This is one of the biggest “second chance” bonuses you’ll find, so if that type of bonus appeals to you, this is a terrific welcome offer from BetMGM.
bet365 Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: First Bet Safety Net up to $1,000 or Bet $5 Get $150 in Bonus Bets Win or Lose
The bet365 Sportsbook usually does something like this where they offer new sign-ups a choice of offers. For both offers, you have 30 days after creating your account to deposit at least $10 and claim your chosen offer.
The “First Bet Safety Net” is a “second chance” or “no sweat” bet offer similar to the BetMGM one described above. Here are the terms for that offer:
- Make an initial bet, and if the bet loses you’ll get the bet amount back in Bonus Bets up to a maximum of $1,000
- You can divide up Bonus Bets however you like when using them
- If you use a Bonus Bet when placing a parlay bet, you don’t also get the standard Parlay Boost that bet365 awards for parlays
- Bonus Bets expire after seven days, so be sure to use them by then
The second offer is a “bet-and-get” bonus like DraftKings has where all you have to do is make a small bet, and whether you win or lose you get a bundle of Bonus Bets. The terms for that one are as follows:
- Within 30 days of claiming the offer, make an initial bet of at least $5 and you’ll immediately receive the $150 in Bonus Bets
- All the same terms regarding Bonus Bets listed above apply here, too (you can divide them up, you don’t get the Parlay Boost when using them, they expire after seven days)
I like both of these offers, although personally I prefer the second one as it guarantees receiving bonus bets. That’s the one I chose when I signed up at bet365 Sportsbook in NC.
- Bottom line: Two solid offers here, both of which compare well to what other sportsbooks provide and should appeal to all types of sports bettors.
Fanatics Sportsbook bonus
Welcome offer: Bet and Get up to $1,000 in No Sweat Bets
- Deposit at least $10 to activate the offer
- On each of your first 10 days on the site, make an initial bet that day of at least $1 and at most $100 that has minimum odds of -500
- Only your first wager each day gets protected as that day’s “no sweat” bet
- If your bet loses, you’ll get the bet amount back as FanCash that can be converted to bonus bets
This is another “second chance”-type offer, but Fanatics has divided it up over your first 10 days on the site. If you go for the maximum each day and happen to lose your bet each day, that’s how you can potentially receive as much as $1,000 in bonus bets.
This is a decent welcome offer, I think, although again you have to lose bets in order to receive anything. Converting FanCash to bonus bets is a simple thing to do, by the way, so don’t worry about that additional step.
By the way, in certain states Fanatics Sportsbook lets new users choose between the above offer and a second “bet-and-get” one the amount of which varies from state to state (e.g., bet $50, get $250 in Bonus Bets).
- Bottom line: This from Fanatics is a decent welcome offer that should appeal both to low-stakes bettors as well as those who like to make bigger wagers.
Key bonus terms, conditions, and fine print to know
Here are a few terms to know about when evaluating online sportsbook bonuses. Some of these are discussed above:
- Bonus bet — a type of site credit you can use to wager with, but cannot withdraw
- Boost — an added increase to the payout awarded to a winning bet
- Insurance — a term sometimes used to refer to a “second chance” or “no sweat” bonus
- No-deposit bonus — a bonus awarded simply for creating an account (somewhat rare with online sportsbooks)
- Opt-in — with some sportsbook bonuses, you have to “opt-in” in order to be eligible to receive it
- Playthrough requirement — also called a “wagering requirement,” this is a condition requiring you to wager a certain amount of your own money in order to “release” or “unlock” the bonus
- Promo code — also called a “bonus code,” you sometimes need to enter on when registering in order to be eligible to receive the welcome offer
- Time limits — just about all bonuses have expiration dates, often giving you only a certain amount of time to use them (e.g., seven days)
- Wagering limits — some bonuses have minimum or maximums for how much you can bet with them
Expert tip: Always take the time to read through the terms and conditions of any bonus in order to know exactly what is being offered and what you have to do to claim it.

Get ready for Missouri online sportsbook bonuses
Whenever a state launches online sports betting, it is an exciting time for those who are located in that state. After years of having to be content with daily fantasy sports and a few other options, now Missouri is finally getting off the bench and into the sports betting game. New Missouri sportsbooks will offer a wide range of welcome bonuses for new players, and there will likely be other fun “pre-live” offers, too, that we’ll be sure to let you know about.
Keep in mind as well that sites often will run special additional promos soon after launching. I recall in NC a few great offers from sites to make bets with +100 odds on there being at least one point scored in a game — that is to say, wagers that essentially couldn’t lose that let you double your money. These could happen as well in MO once sites launch.
Stick close as we’ll let know everything you need here at PlayMissouri regarding which sites will launch and what the Missouri sports betting bonuses will be.
