FanDuel launch offer details
The FanDuel offer launch commenced once Missouri sports betting kicked off at 12:01 AM on Dec. 1.
FanDuel’s offer is about as simple as it gets: Bet $5, and you’ll be rewarded with $300 in bonus bets, regardless of outcome.
Initially one of three operators vying for an untethered license, FanDuel forged a partnership with St. Louis City SC to enable its tethered license application. While it won’t have any retail betting operations in the state, it’s a popular mobile operator familiar to bettors in neighboring states – or even Missouri bettors that have used its app in neighboring states.
FanDuel President Mike Raffensperger heralded the partnership, saying,
“Missouri is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, and we are thrilled to partner with St. Louis City SC to introduce our industry-leading product to the Show Me State. We look forward to supporting the team and engaging with the community as we bring America’s No. 1 sportsbook to fans across Missouri.”
FanDuel was also instrumental in getting voters to approve sports betting in Missouri; in April, it made a contribution of more than $2 million to the political action committee garnering support for the initiative, bringing its yearly contribution total at the time to nearly $3.8 million.
